Marketing Ebook

Extensive market research, will help you weigh up the perfect choice.

This marketing ebook page is part of: ‘Write for Kids’

Choosing the right ebook compiler is crucial to your marketing strategies. Should you choose the wrong format, it can have disastrous consequences on your sales.

So, before I set out to market my kid’s books via the Net, I first looked at the different software packs available. I found many programs to choose from, and that there are more appearing all the time.

The reasons I chose Adobe.

I soon realized Adobe was far ahead of the game. They’ve been around a while, and are constantly upgrading the many different versions available.

The most recent version available for compiling your ebook being, Adobe Writer 7.0

It seems almost everyone selling ebooks today is using Adobe.

You only have to look at what’s available at Clickbank, ‘a company that sells ebooks on your behalf’, to see this. I myself have downloaded many ebooks, and every one has been compiled using Adobe.

Not only is it the most popular choice, it also allows an existing customer to upgrade to the latest version available at a very reasonable fee, rather than having to re-buy the whole new package.

To read an ebook compiled in Adobe or any other format for that matter, requires the relevant reader software. This is another plus for us as ebook marketers, as most people already have Adobe Reader installed on their P.C.

There’s just nothing more frustrating, as I’m sure you will agree, than going to download your latest choice of whatever it may be, only to find you need yet another software package to be able to do it.

It’s also easy to use. You compile your ebook using for example, Microsoft Publisher, then, simply transfer it to Adobe.

Even if you’re not familiar with this process, they’re a million and one free-lancers out there who’ll do it for you at a reasonable fee. It’s lockable too, which means nobody can tamper with it once it’s been downloaded.

If you decide to use Adobe, I’d highly recommend buying from Adobe themselves, as I did, and obtaining your own discs.

This means you can load the package onto as many PC’s as you like, you have the keys, you have Adobe support and you can upgrade to the next level when required.

There are many companies offering Adobe at ridiculously low prices over a download link on the Net. All I’d say on that one is, you only get what you pay for and consider the consequences if you have a problem.

Well, I think that’s about all I have to say in my marketing ebook section. If you’d like to see an example of the quality and format of Adobe, why not download my free ebook ‘The Fabulous Sock’ on the link below.
